Christine is the Managing Director of CEFM (Centre for Education and Finance Management) which is a national schools advisory service led by solicitors, accountants and educational practitioners.
Ms Denise Maloney (Joint Vice Chair)
Denise is a National Leader of Governance and experienced in Chairing Rapid Recovery Interim Boards for schools falling into a category.
Ms Jan Moorhouse (Joint Vice Chair)
Jan is currently a Senior Lecturer in Marketing at University of Roehampton. Jan has worked in Higher Education since 1987 and has previously held senior lecturer positions at the University of Hertfordshire and the University of West London. Jan is also an experienced school governor.
Dr Jenny Francis
Jenny is the Programme Leader for the National College Leadership Qualifications (NPQML/NPQSL/NPQH) at the Institute of Education, University of London Leadership Centre
Cllr David Millican
David is a local Councillor with a keen interest in education. He is a Director of the award winning social enterprise Cultivate London. His professional background is in marketing.
Mr Gerry Wadwa (Executive Headteacher)
Gerry has been the Headteacher of Featherstone High School in the London Borough of Ealing since September 2009. The school has been graded by Ofsted as outstanding in its last two inspections, most recently in January 2015 across all key areas. Gerry has worked in six secondary schools in the London areaand held two Deputy Headships and an Interim Headship in a school in challenging circumstances. He works for the Institute of Education as a Facilitator on the NPQH programme.
Mr Shahbaz Haider (Director of Finance)
Director of Business and Finance for both GU MAT and at Featherstone High School. 9 years’ experience working in Education Finance firstly with Luton LA and then with FHS. Shahbaz is experienced in supporting other schools through the conversion process. He has passed the National College Diploma for School Business Managers and is a Part Qualified Accountant (CIMA).
Mr Zak Muneer
Zak is the Chief Operating Officer at LHC a not for profit purchasing consortium specialising in public sector procurement solutions. Zak is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and is a keen contributor to schools careers awareness days.
Mr Rabindara Pathak MBE
Rabindara is a former Mayor of Ealing and was awarded an MBE for his service to the community. He has over 30 years’ experience of serving as a School Governor and is also a former Maths teacher.
Rev Mark Poulson
Mark is a world expert on multi faith matters. He is the Secretary for Inter Religious Affairs to the Archbishop of Canterbury and the National Inter Religious Affairs Adviser for the Church of England and the former Vicar at St Johns Church, Southall. Mark is also a well-known local community leader and set up the Southall multi faith forum which has received national acclaim. Mark is well placed to ensure that GU MAT delivers on its commitment to a multi faith, multi-cultural, cohesive and tolerant ethos.
Mr Manish Madhas
A senior business manager with expert knowledge of aeronautical charges, economic regulation, the aviation sector, financial modelling and pricing strategies. In addition to his present role with Heathrow Airport (formally BAA), he has held a number of roles within economic regulation and finance focusing on price control reviews, competition issues, regulatory policy and financial reporting. With over a decade of professional experience, he has advised on and successfully lead a number economic regulation projects, with particular focus on operating costs and capital expenditure.
School Improvement Consultant
Ms Fiona Oakley
Fiona is an experienced and highly effective English and literacy consultant who works across both the Primary and Secondary phase. She has huge expertise in developing and implementing literacy strategies in schools to raise attainment and help close the gap for disadvantaged students. Fiona is committed to a collaborative approach and encourages teachers and schools to work together, sharing best practice to support students to access the school curriculum. She is currently working with the National Literacy Trust and Ealing School Effectiveness Service.
