Our House System

The House system is an integral part of school life and allows every student, member of staff and governor to feel a sense of belonging by being a member:

• Promoting wider participation in a range of activities across the schools provision.
• To promote vertical interaction between students of different ages and thereby enhance the pastoral life of the school.
• Developing competition and pride for one’s House.
• Developing opportunities for leadership.

By being a member of the House family, students and staff are encouraged to show team spirit as all of the Houses thrive on the ethos of “it’s the taking part that counts”.

There are many house events throughout the year from all areas of school life. The events are designed to bond all members of each House to be as one. Remember, “Together we Achieve”
