Select Your Subjects
You must select subjects from both the A Level and BTEC Routes. You will then be guided depending on your results as to which route to take.
If you do not achieve a grade 4 or above in your English Language and/or Maths you will need to retake these subjects.
A Level Route
Most students will follow 3 subjects, each must be from a different option group. Please note your subjects cannot overlap. e.g. you cannot pick Art from Option 1 and Art from Option 2.
Those students who have gained 8s & 9s in the main at GCSE, may have the opportunity to study 4 A Level subjects.

BTEC Level 3 Route
All students will follow 2 different subjects, pick from either option 1 or option 2.
Please note your subjects cannot overlap. e.g. you cannot pick Applied Science from BTEC Level 3 national diploma and Applied Science in Level 3 Certificate.
Students will follow 2 BTEC subjects at Level 3 (one diploma and one certificate) which will be equivalent of 3 A Levels. Students who have grade 4s or below in English and Maths will retake these GCSEs as part of their curriculum. All students undertaking BTEC courses will complete compulsory work experience as part of their course.
